The chairman for the 2019 farmers day in the Techiman north district of the Bono East region who doubles as the chief of Ayeasu Camp a sub community in the Techiman north where this years celebration was held Nana Konadu Yiadom has urged the government to the government to create an agency who will be responsible in the buying of cashew in the country.

According to him, the buying of cashew last year did not give most of the farmers the interest to engage in the plantation of cashew this year which he said has reduced the agricultural system of the country.

Nana continued by urging the government to increase the price of cashew this year to make farming very much excited in the country and again urged the government to fully engage himself in the buying and selling of cashew.

Nana spoke to Osomafo Kwame Owusu by urging all youth and all the people in the country to fully engage themselves in to farming since is a good work.
