NSFAS will work with institutions of higher learning and training, the National Youth Development Agency, community structures and organisations to ensure that all eligible students are reached.

New applicants are urged to apply on the improved online application system known as MyNSFAS Online. The new system aims to improve the time at which users take in applying for funding.

After the completion and submission of the applications, the learners will receive SMS notifications confirming that their application was captured successfully.

Once a student has applied to NSFAS there is a waiting period of about week. Should a student not receive the acknowledgement, they are requested to call NSFAS’s TOLL FREE Call centre, which is 08000 NSFAS (67327).
